Can you name a Nokia mobile phone model having digit ‘4’ in its model number? OK hold on, don’t overstrain your gray cells, there are very few of them produced by Nokia. The question arise why there is no Nokia 4400, N74, N84, N94 etc? Is this just a damn coincidence or something deliberate? The answer is a bit weird and funny. Actually it is a superstition in some Asian countries (China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea etc) to avoid number 4 as the words for it sound quite similar to the word for death. So the 4th floor, table, room no. etc are usually avoided in these countries. It is termed as “Tetraphobia”.
To respect their customs and culture Nokia also follows this superstition as a gesture of “Politeness” (Or maybe because Nokia has the largest customer base in these countries). Now another question is: Do other Mobile phone makers (Samsung, LG, Motorola etc) also follow this superstition? Any answer????

While the mobile world is still relishing the new Opera Mini 5, Deviance team has given them another reason to celebrate, in the form of Bolt 1.5 – the latest version of their mobile web browser. I surf a lot on my mobile and thus have many mobile web browsers (Tea Shark, UCWeb, Firefox, jB5, NetFront, Opera Modded, Bolt, Opera 8, Opera mini etc). Out of these I use mostly Bolt and Opera Mini. Like Opera Mini, Bolt also uses a proxy server to optimize the requested web page for mobile viewing but it renders the pages in a more desktop-look-alike style than any other mobile browser. It is however a bit slower to fetch the page than other browsers but the exact desktop-like page rendering more than compensate this flaw. Following (Few) new features have been added to the new version (Otherwise same as version 1.00):1. A Google Search bar is provided alongside the URL bar.
2. A Video play settings Wizard has been added to the ‘Settings’ menu to optimize the video playback according to device screen.
3. It is a bit faster than the previous versions.
Frankly, I am a bit disappointed with the new version as I was expecting a complete makeover like new Opera Mini but nothing extraordinary has been changed (Looks or feature wise).
New Bolt 1.5 (Java Application – compatible with all smartphones) can be downloaded free from HERE according to your device.
