0 HOW TO DELETE “UNABLE TO DELETE” WARNING FILES FROM YOUR SMARTPHONE?

Unable to delete a file that you don’t want on your phone? Don't know why? Well the fault lies in the attributes of the file i.e. the file has one or more of the “Hidden”, “Read Only” or “System” attributes and the inbuilt file manager of Symbian phones is so dumb, it just refuses to delete a file having such attributes (Are Nokia guys reading?). Even worse, it does not have any option to see and change file’s attributes either. X-plore comes to the rescue in this problem.

1. Install X-plore and go to the file you want to delete

2. Highlight the file and go to Menu\File\Attributes (Or just press 6).

3. Uncheck all the three boxes, press Back and you are done.

Now you can delete the irritating file in a jiffy. Note however that not all the files can be deleted this way, for example you can’t delete a file which is associated with a running application or is a ROM file.
